I'm Greg K Nicholson; you can call me “Greg”. Amongst other things, I write Mooquackwooftweetmeow, the Friday Fetch-it, Walking Dataloss & Your Mam’s Guide to Computers & the Internet, and co-write The Bollocks. I also do all of their design and web-wrangling.
I'm a human, usually found in North-East England, which is a part of Great Britain, an island on Earth. Like many humans, I enjoy using masculine personal pronouns—makes me feel all manly-like. That “K” in my name stands for “Keith”; it's there to preserve my initials and is silent.
I was born on the 3rd of December, 1985 (at about ten to three in the afternoon), in Darlington, County Durham, where I lived until 1998. I then moved to Hartlepool (also known variously as “Partypool”, “Hang-le-monkey” and “Crap-le-crap”).
In 2004 I went to the University of York, where I'm a member of Derwent College (I lived in B-Block, 2nd-and-a-half floor). I studied Physics With Astrophysics, until I got bored two-and-a-half years later; they gave me a BSc anyway. I still live in York, in an otherwise-inconspicuous house near the River Ouse's Millennium Bridge.
You can email me at pretty-much-anything@gkn.me.uk. For stuff about Mooquackwooftweetmeow, mooquackwooftweetmeow@gkn.me.uk is a good choice (each entry also has its own address for responses and comments; there's a link to the right of the main section); I use greg@gkn.me.uk for most other stuff; you get the idea.
